Welcome to Neurodivergent Girls Club

Providing online mental health resources with the neurodivergent person in mind.

About me

“I talk about neurodivergence and mental health, while sharing stories about learning to navigate the world as an autistic adult.”

My name is Stacey. I am autistic and I talk and write about neurodivergence and mental health.

I was sectioned in a CAMHS unit as a teenager after years of high anxiety, issues around food and low mood. Mis-diagnosed with a personality disorder as a teenager, I was then diagnosed with autism in my early twenties. I began blogging about my experiences shortly after my autism diagnosis.

I am passionate about young autistic people understanding why they are different and knowing that they aren’t alone, and about raising awareness and understanding of autism and mental health.

"Your speech was incredible and I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone connect with the young people and make a difference in the way that you did."

Katie Sharpp

"I loved hearing Stacey's personal story as it added context and depth to the presentation."
